The service
Valyak is software that venues and valet operators use to run valet parking. The valet service itself is provided by the venue or its operator, who is responsible for your car while it is in their care. We provide the ticket, the request, the payment and the records around it.
Your account
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. Keep your phone and your ticket links to yourself: anyone holding a ticket link can see that ticket.
You must be 18 or older and give accurate information.
Fees and payment
The venue sets the valet fee, shown on your ticket before you pay. Payments are taken by card through Stripe, in UAE dirhams, and include VAT where it applies.
Tips are optional and go to the venue's valet team.
Refunds
- If you were charged in error, or twice, we refund the extra amount to the same card.
- If you dispute a valet fee, write to us within [14] days with your ticket code. We review it with the venue and refund where the fee was not owed.
- A tip is refunded only when it was charged in error.
- Refunds reach your card within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.
Valyak+ membership and cancellation
- Valyak+ renews automatically each period at the price shown when you joined, until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time in the app or on the guest portal. You keep the benefits until the end of the period you paid for; we do not refund part periods, except where UAE consumer law requires it. [Legal to review.]
- Deleting your account cancels Valyak+ immediately, without a refund for the rest of the period.
- We will tell you before a price change applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
Using the service fairly
Do not misuse the service: no attempts to access other people's tickets or accounts, to disrupt the system, or to use it for anything unlawful.
Liability
Your car is in the care of the venue or valet operator, under their own terms; claims about damage or loss go to them. Our liability for the software is limited to the amount you paid through Valyak in the [12] months before the claim, except where the law does not allow such a limit. [Legal to review.]
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Valyak and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. [Legal to confirm the courts or forum.]
